Guernsey Mind is introducing a new initiative for anyone who enjoys a gentle stroll, or a more active hike. It is part of a new Community in Mind project being spearheaded by the charity.
Walking helps increase fitness levels as well as mental wellbeing, and being active and doing exercise, even simple exercise, reduces stress levels and makes one feel generally fitter and better.
The regular Tuesday lunchtime 'Walking in Mind' activity is aimed at people who work in town.
The group will meet in central St Peter Port and go for a 40 minute walk with the option of a take away coffee or snack at the end of the hour session.
The initiative starts on Tuesday 25th October, 12:30 from the petanque terrain across from Urban Kitchen.
