The Alderney Mind Wellbeing Centre in Ollivier Street compromises of one large warm open plan room with comfortable seating areas, a small library, baby area and kitchen. This floor is currently used for group activities such as baby groups, drop-in sessions and general meetings.
On the first floor we have a more professional space with a large meeting where our training takes place and two separate rooms for more private 1to1 meetings, this floor also has a small kitchen.
The Alderney Wellbeing Centre is in a central location which makes it a great place for mental health service users and associated organisations to meet in welcoming surroundings. The building is an ideal venue for seminars, presentations and counselling sessions.
The Mind Committee wishes to make the Alderney Wellbeing Centre facilities available for anyone in Alderney who aims to increase understanding about mental health, and increase access to community-based mental health services. We also welcome any organisations wishing to use the space to contact us.
