How are we funded?

Guernsey Mind is an independent mental health charity. All our services are funded through donations and private funding. We will never turn people away on the basis that they cannot afford to pay, but we would ask that clients make a financial contribution for each session where they are reasonably able to do so.

As well as enabling us to continue providing services and supporting the work of Guernsey Mind, making a regular payment places a value on the service you receive.

We appreciate any donations – please visit our Guernsey Giving page.

Review of Event

In March, we held our first Suicide Support Journey conference and training in conjunction with Talking Benches and Guernsey Samaritans.

The conference and two training sessions were fully booked and we welcomed three speakers from Suicide Bereavement UK. Although the subject matter and discussions were challenging at times, the overall feedback has been extremely positive and we have a number of actions we will be working on. We will keep you updated on these.

You can view an overview of the event here.

Thank you so much to all the people involved in organising this excellent conference… let’s keep the dialogue going.
