Caring for a pet can help boost our mental health in many ways – from encouraging physical exercise and adding structure to our day, to providing companionship. Our pets are great listeners who never judge, and they can even help us meet new people.
Guernsey Mind, supported by Gravity, would like to celebrate this by inviting local dogs and owners to join us for a fun, community event – Walkies with Guernsey Mind – while raising funds to support our vital work in mental health and wellbeing.
Entry is just £5 and every dog will receive a goodie bag. Any dog raising over £20 in sponsorship will be entered into a draw to win a luxury Pamper Hamper!
Route
We will use the route used by Guernsey Park Run, which is approximately 3 kilometres. If your dog is older (or has little legs!) you can do a shorter route.
When you book your place, you can choose which time slot you would like to attend. Please arrive no later than 10 minutes before your time slot.
Time slots available
8.30am / 9.00am / 9.30am / 10.00am
Spaces will be limited to 50 dogs per time slot.
Remote option
If your dog does not like crowds or is not good around other dogs, you can choose to do a walk remotely using a different route. You will still be eligible for a goodie bag and the prize draw. Please select the ‘remote’ option on the booking form.
