Guest Keynote Speaker

Rob Baker – The Power of Mattering

Creating the Conditions for Thriving at Work

In this engaging keynote, organisational psychologist and TEDx speaker Rob Baker explores why feeling valued, seen and significant at work is essential for wellbeing, engagement and sustainable performance – especially during times of pressure and change.

You’ll gain insight into:

  • What “mattering” means at work, and why it matters
  • How everyday work experiences influence engagement and wellbeing
  • Early signs that someone may be struggling or disengaged
  • Why early intervention leads to better outcomes
  • Practical, research informed ideas to help people thrive at work

Rob Baker is Founder of Tailored Thinking and author of Personalization at Work, working with organisations worldwide to design workplaces where people perform at their best.

How does it work?

WorkWell offers confidential one‑to‑one sessions with a Guernsey Mind practitioner. This begins with a one‑hour introductory session, followed by two 25‑minute follow‑up sessions.

All meetings are led by trained WorkWell practitioners and are scheduled in advance. Sessions can take place either at your workplace or at the Guernsey Mind Centre (located opposite the Fire Station).

Workplaces can purchase credits to support their teams, and Guernsey Mind will manage the allocation of these sessions. A range of packages is available, and we’ll work with you to identify the best option for your organisation.
