Guernsey Mind and Investec are challenging you to lace up your trainers for the annual Investec 10K Challenge. 

Physical activity has lots of benefits for our mental and physical wellbeing. It can help with:

  • Managing stress
  • Improving sleep
  • Improving mood
  • Improving confidence
  • Connecting with nature
  • Socialising and meeting new people

This is your year to take on the 10K Challenge and it is open to everyone – whether you are moving from 5km to 10km, starting from scratch or aiming for a personal best. We are happy to welcome those who want to run, walk or a mixture of both.

NEW for 2026 – Team entries

New for 2026 you can enter as a team of four. All four team members will run the full 10K, and the team result will be based on your combined times. Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Best men’s team
  • Best women’s team
  • Best mixed team (2 men, 2 women)

To enter, please select the Team option on the booking form.

 

 

Guernsey Mind hopes the challenge will inspire people to get moving and give them a tangible goal to work towards. We are very grateful to the Guernsey Athletics Club who are lending their expertise to ensure a smooth and enjoyable race day.

 

Fundraising

When you complete your entry, a fundraising page will be created on SportsGiving so you can start raising additional funds, all of which will come directly to Guernsey Mind.

This year, anyone who raises over £100 (or £400 for a team of 4 entry) will be entered into a prize draw to win a restaurant voucher, kindly donated by Investec.

West Coast Route

We will be using the same route as last year – starting outside the Imperial Hotel, running along the West Coast and finishing at Grandes Rocques.

Please note, public parking is limited at the start. We are planning to run a limited number of coaches before the event from Grandes Rocques so people can park and leave their cars and collect at the end of the race. There will be a charge to use this service and spaces will be limited. Further details will be sent out after booking.

Entry fee £20

Thanks to continued support from Investec, we can keep the entry fee the same as last year at £20. This is an important fund raiser for Guernsey Mind and you will have a sponsorship option when you register for the event. All money raised goes towards our work in supporting mental health and wellbeing in the Bailiwick. 

 

Running tops

T-shirts and vests will be available and you can choose your size when you book. If you choose not to have a shirt, the money saved will come straight to Guernsey Mind. All shirts must be ordered by 31st July.

 

Imagery

We use photos from our events to showcase Guernsey Minds fundraising initiatives and promote awareness for the charity, these can be used our website, flyers and social media. We therefore ask that you notify a member of Guernsey Mind team if you’d prefer not to be in any photographs.
