Brew Monday is a campaign by Samaritans that encourages people to reach out, share a cuppa, and have a meaningful conversation to combat loneliness and support mental wellbeing.

The day aims to challenge the myth of “Blue Monday” – a term created in 2005 as a marketing gimmick to sell holidays. Brew Monday reminds us that anyone can feel low at any time, and that a simple chat and connection can make a real difference.

This year, Guernsey Mind is proud to support Brew Monday alongside Guernsey Samaritans. The key message: connect with friends, family, or colleagues by sharing a drink and talking.

Team members from Guernsey Mind, Guernsey Samaritans and Mental Health First Aiders will be available at several cafés on Monday 19th January. Come along for a chat and to find out more about services available on the Island.
